Hello – my name is Missy Bennett and I have been a licensed Realtor since 2005.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from St Cloud State University and have a unique background of corporate relocation and residential real estate.
I have lived in the NW suburbs all my life so I am well acquainted and knowledgeable in various cities through the Metro area and have sold everything ranging from condos to single family homes. I understand the stress that you and your family go through in the process of a move. That’s why I believe that teamwork and communication is vital in the relationship that we will have. When I work with you, I make it a point to keep you informed every step of the way.
I am passionate about real estate and want to help my clients achieve their goals of owning real estate, whether it be their first home or their fifth. So whether you are looking for real estate advice or help with finding the home of your dreams, I am here to assist you and want to be your Realtor!
First Time Buyers >A Matter of Timing
Buying real estate can sometimes involve tricky timing. For example, you may have found the perfect house and are thinking about making an offer, but are feeling pressured to make a decision just when you want time to consider the matter. The agent tells you that another party is thinking about making an offer, so you shouldn't hesitate if you really want the house. What should you do? Trust your agent!
It is natural to feel some pressure from even the most easy-going real estate agent--and some uncertainty about making an offer. If you really like a house, there is always the possibility that someone else will share your enthusiasm for it. Whether your local market is active or sluggish, it is sensible to assume that another offer is likely to come in. Perhaps you can afford to "sleep on it", but moving as quickly as possible will minimize the possibility that the house will go to another buyer.
