About Mayer

Mayer, incorporated in 1948, is a small yet thriving community located in central Arizona. Nestled between rolling hills and open desert, it is a gateway to some of the most scenic landscapes the state has to offer. Located about 70 miles north of Phoenix, Mayer offers a peaceful, rural atmosphere while remaining accessible to the amenities of larger cities. According to the 2020 census, the population is approximately 1,500.
