Priest, a farmer who tended to the area in the late 1800s. One of the standout features of Priests Bay is Hardscrabble Point, celebrated for its stunning lakeshore homes and vibrant community. Residents of Hardscrabble Point enjoy scenic views and direct access to the water from their properties situated on the bay’s southern edge.

The facility includes a free on-site parking lot for boat trailers, with additional on-street parking available along Bartlett Boulevard when necessary.

With over two miles of scenic shoreline, Priests Bay is a bustling area of Lake Minnetonka and is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities. Anglers can expect to catch various species, including Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Bluegill. While most of the shoreline is residential, boaters can find public docks at Surfside Beach in Cooks Bay, which features amenities such as a playground, picnic tables, and barbeque grills for family gatherings. For dining options, Al & Alma’s Supper Club, located just across the bay, offers delightful meals with boat slips and dock-side takeout for those who prefer to dine on the water.
