The Wayzata Yacht Club, while not a marina, is renowned as a community sailing center, offering robust adult and youth sailing programs and hosting one of the nation’s largest sailboat racing initiatives.

Summer highlights include the annual Wayzata Art Experience, Sunday Music in the Park, and the signature James J. Hill Days festival. The Wayzata Art Experience, held the last weekend of June, transforms downtown Wayzata into a vibrant art fair, featuring local artists and craftsmen.
